What is a Life Coach?
A Life Coach is a person who counsels and encourages clients on matters having to do with careers or personal challenges. A Life Coach helps get people “unstuck”, work through challenging circumstances, and a Life Coach also provides accountability so that you reach your goals faster.
I think I need a Life Coach, but how do I know for sure?
If you think you need a Life Coach, let’s talk. If I don’t think we’re a good match to work together, I will point you in the right direction for your needs.
Are You A Licensed Counselor/Therapist?
No. Day One Life Coaching, LLC and Mary Beth Schrudder do not diagnose, treat or prescribe for any specific disease or condition. Anything offered by Day One Life Coaching, LLC, is not a substitution for conventional medical methods of diagnosing, treating or prescribing which is reserved for licensed medical physicians.

My college degree is from Miami University in Organizational Leadership. My first certifications were professional Life Coaching and Addiction Recovery Coaching. Since then, I have added on more certifications. I am extremely passionate about teaching the Law of Attraction as it is a game-changer once people learn the premise and techniques! In addition to being certified to teach Law of Attraction, I also became a certified Transformational Life Coach and Spiritual Life Coach. My approach is Holistic, which means that my support considers emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. Mind, body, and spirit must be balanced and healthy to live your best life.
Where is your office?
We can chat by phone or even have video sessions if you prefer - Video options are FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, Ring Central, or even Facebook Messenger! Whatever is easiest for you.
I would like to schedule an appointment with you, but it’s too far to drive. Are there any other options?
I work with some people online and via phone. We do not have to meet in person for a session.

What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you cannot make your appointment for any reason (other than urgent circumstances), I require a 48-hour cancellation notice so that I can try to fill the time slot you were scheduled for. If you cancel without giving me 48-hour notice, you forfeit one of your package sessions out of mutual respect for time.

How can I avoid the missed-session charge?
You can show up for your appointment OR you can refer a friend to help me fill the appointment. If your friend books the appointment, there will be no cancellation fee for you.
Refund Policy
Day One Life Coaching packages are designed with your best interest in mind so that you get the greatest results possible. Your journey starts with your decision to invest in yourself and making a firm commitment to use your scheduled sessions. Therefore, coaching packages do not qualify for a refund.

Coaching programs expire ONE year from purchase and you are responsible for using the total number of sessions you have purchased. Unused sessions or bonuses do not qualify for a refund.
What can I expect at my appointments?
We will discuss your goals for each session at the beginning of the hour. You get to determine the topic based on your needs, and I will make sure that we stay on track during your session. I treat each client as an individual, so no 2 sessions are alike! The more honest and open you are with me, the more I can help you. All sessions are confidential; there is no need to worry about judgment from me - honesty is essential for growth!
